OMNILINK has been working towards ensuring that our products are in accordance with the latest standards documented in the PABP/DSS certification process. We want to make our customers aware of what is being done for you today to protect against credit card fraud or potential credit security risks as well as our go forward strategy.
As well as managing the transaction files that are created, we restrict access at the table level from extracting credit information via off the shelf data analysis tools like Microsoft Excel, Access, etc. This table level restriction does not affect the user security access in the application. Within the OMNILINK structure, we "XXXX" out the credit card information once it has been recorded.
Aside from the best practices to lock down credit information today, OMNISOLV is currently in the process of implementing its latest application upgrade. This new upgrade is a fully PC-I and PABP/DSS-compliant version of our current proprietary platform. Our targeted release date for this version is September 1, 2008.
