Volunteering with Habitat for Humanity on 9-11

The management and local warehouse staff of OmniSolv work together on Friday, September 11 to assist Habitat for Humanity in building a home for an underprivileged family.  "This is the fourth house that we've help build this year.  With each build our skills get better, our hearts grow stronger, and we are reminded of all that we have to be thankful for," says Steve McClary, Vice-President of Distribution for OmniSolv.

September 11 was officially recognized as the National Day of Service and Remembrance as part of the Edward M. Kennedy Serve America Act. The mission of the day is to honor the victims and those who rose to service in response to the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, by encouraging all Americans and others throughout the world to perform at least one good deed on September 11 each year.
